I don't think I could explain synchronicity any better than this link
It's interesting that it mentions people noticing synchronisitic experiences more often after kundalini experiences, which I've had myself, too.
Let's conduct a little experiment here. If you've arrived at this website, and at this post, and there's some synchronistic thingummyjig going on for you around it, then leave a comment below.

Oh gosh now I'm all self-conscience and everything. I don't know Jack - I picked up on your Apoplexy video on Google and sensed that you were a good soul. I relate to good souls. I guess you could say I resonate with good souls. Birds of a feather and that. Synchronicity? Everything is meant to be and so it is. Prior lifetimes? Kundalini? I don't think it's all that dramatic, maybe just resonance and empathy that cause connection and ultimate beingness - aka the created creates.
In the search for self, I found you. I'll admit, I was ego surfing - I'm interested in synchronicity and have been blogging for months, but no one seems to notice me. It actually makes me feel better to know that others are thinking about it too. We have a few of the same favorite movies, which was a pleasant coincidence. You are a prolific writer & I've enjoyed poking around the blogs.
I have been experiencing synchronicity and researching it for almost 12 years now. I believe it to be one of the greatest undiscovered PROVEN sciences to date. I have catalogued numerous experiences sometimes pre-empted four weeks prior. I believe that it available to all but nevertheless accessed by few who are open to attempting to understand their realities. It can be mocking or at least appear to be. My finding this site was not coincidence but research, nevertheless it was refreshing nonetheless to realise that others are taking up the mantle. Synchronicity can also manifest itself in feeling, i.e. not auditory experiences, the feelings are a pre cursor to what is to come. I recently experienced this after winning £196.00 on the UK lottery when I had 12p to my name.
