Finding fault in people

I've been having some more very interesting little epiphanies about criticism over the past couple of days, as well. Looking at some of the critical comments on this blog and in what I used to write on GUT, I'm aware that there are some people that look for fault rather than see what's right about someone. I wonder how perfectionistic they are about themselves?

It's rather like the mentality that so many people have about flying, that of course the media is to blame for, much of the time. Newspapers will tell readers about every single plane crash, ignoring the fact that thousands upon thousands of planes take off, fly, and land safely every single day.

Looking for fault in people, or in oneself, is really no different at all. Is it any wonder that people feel stressed, at the thought of needing to be so perfect all the time? It's no wonder that we end up hating ourselves when the expectations placed upon us by shame and unreasonable expectations is so high?

Is it any wonder, when the love we're given by others and for ourselves is so conditional?

Yet the fault finding and shame dumping goes on all the time.

Isn't it absolutely bizarre?

Incidentallly, I don't need you to agree with me...

I know I'm right about this one.
